This kava Chemotype is known as Melo Melo kava. Melo Melo is grown on the island of Espiritu Santo in Vanuatu. Melo Melo kava is known for its slightly bitter, peppery taste, and mellowing effects. Melo Melo also has a very high kavain to dihydromethysticin ratio that is favorable amongst veteran kava drinkers.

Average Chemotype- This batch has a chemotype of 423165 as evidenced by HPLC lab test results. Chemotypes can vary depending on growing conditions in different areas. With a flavokavain level less than 0.25% this cultivar of kava is a noble variety.
